How it works

- Kickoff01The business being reviewed is sent a link to begin the certification process.
- Questionnaire02The business owner fills out a questionnaire and uploads any necessary documents.
- Review03CyberCertified reviews the questionnaire in detail and liaises with the business if required.
- Approve04CyberCertified approves or rejects the submission. Approved businesses are issued with a unique security certificate, valid for 12 months.

Meet the team
Michael Connory is the CEO of Security in Depth, one of Australia’s preeminent Cyber Security research organisations. Over the last 20 years, Michael has had extensive experience in the global cyber security sector, working as the APAC Country Director for Gemalto, Regional Identity and Access Management Manager for Oracle and Principal Consultant for the NCC Group. Michael also holds a number of positions on boards.
Recognised as one of Australia’s leading voices in cyber security, Michael continues to advocate for better privacy protection for businesses and individuals. Michael has been the subject of countless news and magazine articles published throughout the world. He has made guest appearances on numerous television and radio programs, offering expert commentary on issues related to information security. In addition to appearing on local network news programs, he has made appearances on Sky News, Your Money, ABC, The Daily Brief, 2GB, ABC Radio, The Australian, The Age, Herald and Weekly Times, CIO Magazine and Lawyers weekly.
Stephen Moon is the founder and Joint Managing Director of LinkSafe, a leading developer and supplier of online compliance solutions in Australia. With over 35 years’ experience working with IT applications in engineering fields, Stephen’s career has taken him from systems engineering for Hewlett Packard and Integraph Corporation to beginning his own business. Today, LinkSafe covers compliance systems and services for over 25,000 facilities, and Stephen remains passionately involved in the company’s day-to-day operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Swinburne University.
Anastasios Maltezos is the Chief Operating Officer of Australia’s leading cybersecurity research and consulting firm, Security in Depth. Anastasios has been involved in information security for over two decades as a highly respected consultant in information security management systems and as a certified CARR auditor. In 2017, he completed the ISMS ISO 27001 Lead Auditor training course and has guided Australian businesses into implementing an effective and cost-efficient information security management system. Prior to joining Security in Depth, Anastasios worked as a marketing executive in the MedTech sector.
David Erczmann is the General Manager of both LinkSafe, Australia’s leading online contractor management platform, and CyberCertified. He has a deep understanding of client requirements, and loves immersing himself in businesses to better interpret their pain points and formulate innovative solutions. David holds a Bachelor of Business degree with majors in Marketing and Human Resource Management from Swinburne University. His passion lies in building trust, integrity, and lasting relationships within his client base.
